Wood is my passion.

My introduction was at school where I was inspired by a wonderful teacher. The workshop had no machines or power tools so my grounding was very much in the correct use of hand tools.

Retirement afforded me the opportunity to pursue my dream of designing and making furniture in my own workshop.

I fitted it out in its entirety and most of the wood was sourced locally from Chris Frankland (FTS)

I have a Felder Combination Machine which enables me to produce accurate components quickly and accurately. It provides rip, cross and panel sawing, planing, thicknessing and spindle moulding. The other machines are a bandsaw, drill press, mortiser and sanding center.

I have a good range of machines, power and hand tools although my wish list does not seem to be getting any shorter!
